Four! Wright Tech Golf Team comes out swinging

The Wright Tech Golf Team debuted this month with a half dozen members and a win over Kaynor Tech.

The first rounds of golf will be played against other technical high schools, including Kaynor and Cheney technical high schools. Members of the Wright Tech golf team have been gearing up for the season on the driving range at the E. Gaynor Brennan course in Stamford. They begin playing regular weekly rounds now that the weather is more consistently warm.

Phil Bodey, the Carpentry Department Head, serves as coach. Sophomore Eddie Demarkey is the team captain and sought out the sponsorship from Dick’s for equipment and other related expenses. DeMarkey received word this week his request was approved.
