June 17, 2024
Oh the places they’re going!
Roughly half of the Class of 2024 participated in an exit survey which revealed most have plans to attend college – both part-time and full-time – upon graduation. The survey also showed that 40% of the class will head into the workforce and local trades, many with jobs already in hand.
Of those going on to college, most are staying in state. Students have been accepted at the University of Connecticut (Storrs and Stamford), Central Connecticut State University, Quinnipiac University, and University of Hartford. Many shared plans to attend Norwalk Community College for a variety of programs related to their trade and interests.
Other places Wright Tech students will attend are: Boston College, The Culinary Institute of America, The Parsons School of Design/The New School, Iona University, and Belmont University.
For those going into the trades, many students have already secured employment.
